General Unpacking Shell

General Unpacking Shell is a free utility to use command line unpackers with Windows explorer.

A simple double-click on a packed file starts the correct command line unpacker and recursively unpacks all files into a newly created folder.

Easy to use interface

Once you configured your unpackers, you'll never see this software again. This is the simplest user interface we could come up with.

32-bit and 16-bit

Filenames can get translated for long filename support. Some older packers don't support these yet.

While other unpackers are still loading ther large user interface, your command line packer is usually already done with the job.

Just unzip the file and run the included executable.

You find the most up-to-date packers and unpackers here.
